DigiSkills, the largest digital learning portal in Pakistan, has been launched for its third phase—DigiSkills 3.0—a milestone in the country’s path toward digital empowerment. Ignite and the Ministry of IT & Telecom are supporting DigiSkills 3.0, while Virtual University will implement it. The third phase will last 3.5 years and help train 3 million people in advanced digital skills.
The DigiSkills relaunched and adds 10 new courses, such as Artificial Intelligence, Mobile App Development, UI/UX Design, and Cloud Computing, mirroring the increased need for tech-smart professionals across the global freelance market.
Widening Horizons for Freelancers and Tech Enthusiasts
DigiSkills 3.0 follows up on the achievements of its past stages, which successfully trained more than 4.5 million individuals from all over Pakistan. The initiative keeps training for free in the most sought-after fields like freelancing, digital marketing, SEO, and graphic designing, etc., and expanding further into advanced fields like Shopify & drop shipping.

With 300,000 seats for Batch 01 beginning August 1, 2025, the program is available to all citizens on a first-come, first-served basis, and it provides an accessible doorway to international earning opportunities.

One of the most notable aspects of DigiSkills has been its thrust on women’s empowerment, with more than 800,000 women having received the program’s benefits so far. DigiSkills 3.0 builds upon this tradition by offering flexible, online learning solutions that are accessible to heterogeneous communities all over Pakistan.
