PUBG Mobile 4.0 Launches with Ghost Mode Thrills

PUBG Mobile 4.0

PUBG Mobile 4.0 launches Magic Brooms for fast travel and dash attacks. Fly solo or with a teammate and surprise enemies from above.

PUBG Mobile 4.0 represents a brave step into supernatural realms with the addition of Ghost Mode against the eerie Wraithmoor Mansion. Players move through haunted gardens and darkened hallways where ghosts manifest themselves in ordinary objects.

The destruction of such ghostly imitations can uncover loot or reveal enemy locations, adding an exciting element of uncertainty to traditional battle royale action.

Discover Ghostie: Your Tactical Spirit Sidekick

The highlight of this patch is Ghostie, a floating ally with special powers. Players can utilize Ghostie to place a Guardian Shield, detect enemies, heal over time, or soar by inflating a balloon. The abilities have both defensive and offensive uses, and Ghostie can be improved upon by using rare items that are scattered across the map.

The incorporation of ghost-themed concerts from the Performing Dead band provides a fun twist, with players being rewarded with loot and buffs.

Cast-off Combat with Magic Brooms

PUBG Mobile 4.0 features the introduction of the Magic Broom, with which players can fly around the battleground alone or with an ally. The broom does not serve only as a means of transportation—it can also execute dash attacks that push back foes.

Players also use a Strength Potion that increases jump height and damage resistance but disables firearms and substitutes them with a high-damage ground slam, which promotes innovative combat tactics.

Erangel Receives Rainbow Facelift

The classic Erangel map gets a colorful facelift in this patch. The addition of Rainbow weather, Flash Shops, and refueling gas stations is new. Buildings and ports have been reworked to provide improved tactical gameplay, and supply crates are now divided into medical, token, and military crates.

These adjustments add depth to the strategic aspects of gameplay without making the action stale or predictable. PUBG Mobile 4.0 arrives in early September 2025, after beta testing launched on July 31.
