Samsung Galaxy AI Now Speaks 22 Languages: Here’s What’s New

Samsung has made a significant move toward bringing artificial intelligence to everyone and making it more inclusive by integrating 22 new languages into its Galaxy AI capabilities. This tactical refresh, which started rolling out on October 29, 2025, adds Filipino and Gujarati to its platform, expanding its reach across various linguistic communities to a much larger extent.

Breaking Language Barriers with Galaxy AI

The inclusion of Filipino and Gujarati is a key step in Samsung’s effort to democratize mobile AI. With these additions, Galaxy AI now supports almost 5.9 billion individuals, equating to about 74% of the total population of the planet. This further strengthens users’ ability to communicate more naturally and efficiently with their devices, no matter the language they speak.

These languages are available across Galaxy AI features like Live Translate, Interpreter, Chat Assist, Note Assist, and more. Samsung has hinted at further expansions in the future, so even more languages may be added soon.

Improved Features Throughout the Galaxy Ecosystem

Samsung has developed AI-driven features to enhance communication and productivity. With the increase in language support, users can now benefit from:

Live Translate: Direct voice and text translation during calls.

Interpreter Mode: Split-screen translation for face-to-face conversations.

Chat Assist: Language-sensitive suggestions for messaging applications.

Note Assist and Transcript Assist: Intelligent note-taking and transcription with multilingual capabilities.

Browsing Assist: Smooth translation and summarization of web pages.

How to Get the New Language Packs

To begin using Filipino and Gujarati on Galaxy AI, users can simply download language packs using the Settings application on their Galaxy devices. The update is available on devices that carry Galaxy AI, such as the most recent Galaxy S and Z series smartphones.
