Apple drops older models! iOS 26 supported phones start from the iPhone 11. Find out if your device gets the update and new features.

Apple’s new iOS 26 update is out, and it has exciting new features, tighter security, and better performance. But not all iPhones are cutting it. Curious if your phone will work? Let’s take a look at the complete list of compatible iPhones and what this upgrade will mean for users.

Which iPhones are compatible with iOS 26?

Officially, Apple has said that iOS 26 can be installed on iPhone 11 and later. Here’s the lowdown:

iOS 26 supported phones

iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max

iPhone 12, 12 Mini, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max

iPhone 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max

iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max.

iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max

iPhone SE (2nd generation and later)

 Dropped Models:

Unfortunately, iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR won’t be supported with iOS 26. If you have one of these devices, it might be time to start thinking about an upgrade.

Exclusive Features for iPhone 15 Pro and Later

While all the supported devices will benefit from iOS 26’s enhanced features, Apple has added Apple Intelligence, a collection of AI-driven features specific to iPhone 15 Pro and later. The implication is that older devices will be deprived of deep AI integration, more powerful Siri capabilities, and more intelligent automation tools.

Why Upgrade to iOS 26?

If your iPhone is compatible with iOS 26, here’s what you can expect:

Improved Performance: Smoother speeds and optimal battery consumption.

New AI Features: Smart productivity and creative tools.

Enhanced Security: Enhanced privacy controls and threat defense.

Fresh UI Updates: A simpler interface for an effortless experience.

Final Thoughts

iOS 26 follows Apple’s dedication to innovation, but not every iPhone is included. If your device is supported, a free update will bring a host of powerful new capabilities. If it’s not, perhaps now is the time to consider an upgrade.
